If I get enough people signed up for me class (hope, hope!) I will probably need a few GPSrs for everyone to try out. At this point, I don’t know how many, but the class isn’t until October, and I’ll know before then.

The fewer bells and whistles, the better for this class. I’d like to stick to Garmins, as I seem to be able to use them better anymore. So the etrex line may be best.

At this point, I just need a list of folks I can borrow from.

    Thanks (again) in advance!

I’d be happy to lend mine out, I just have the Yellow Etrex. I can drop it off sometime when I come around the area to visit with my parents in New Glarus.

You can use my eTrex Legend of course.

Hey Bec…why not contact your local Gander and see is they might be aboe to donate a couple of them to the school. And then, contact my local Gander for the same thing. There’s always Best Buy in Janesville…you know…worth a try, eh?!

    Bec,

You can always check out the WGA educational pack.

Oh wait don’t have one of those…. 😀

Anyhow, I have a Yellow Etrex you can borrow.

We have a yellow that you could use just let us know if you need it!

I don’t know if this is a credit class or not, but my recollection of college classes is that they have no qualms about requiring supplies for classes, regardless of costs. I would think you could make the purchase of a GPS a prerequisite for the class without causing significant issues.

That said, I have an etrex yellow you can borrow.

That is really not that bad, I had to spend $100 for a calculator that was required for a math class before.
