Is their a way to add a sound file (wav, or midi) to a cache listing? I’m working on a puzzle cache and sound is a vital part of the puzzle. Any ideas??
Thanks!!!

There used to be…I don’t think that type of code is allowed any longer. You will have to create a link to it….or am I wrong?
This is the only one I found that had sound….and it is quiet tonite…

It was BTW my all time favorite cache.
I used to embed music code in all my cache pages, but something was put in place a couple of years ago that “previewed” and removed code from any cache page. Mine were fine until I made any small change to the code. Then it was disabled.
Mine were twisted humor that nobody seemed to catch, like Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on fire” for my Peshtigo Phoenix cache that has been since archived.
You can’t embed the sound so that it automatically plays.
You can include a link to a .wav file, but you must host the file elsewhere either on your own web server or a file-sharing site.
Then you include a link to the file, along with the required GC verbiage that says if the users’ computer blows up after playing the file, it’s not their fault.

Thanks all for the help!!!
