Spreading the word….

One of my co-workers just gave a speech at her night school about the ecological impact of our hobby on the environment. I gave her information on the sport, lent her my equipment and even printed pictures of the garbage picked up at GC9397 and our own picnic.

When she gave her speech, there was one of us in her class. I understand several people took down the information about our web-site.

I will also be giving a talk at the January Pack meeting for my son’s cub scout troop. Any and all suggestions would be cool. I have even toyed with setting up caches for them to find at one of their campouts.

Any suggestions about things I should cover?

Yes, Cache are NEVER buried!

I was introducing a few outdoors types this past week to geocaching, and the first comment was “so these things are buried, right?”
