I saw some pics from the picnic with some shirtstwith New state coin logo on them. Were these shirts for sale??? Can I still get one? Cuz I think that they are pretty neat. Were they ever posted for sale? Is it possiable to put the logo on a Cafe press item? Cut that would make very neat sweatshirt.
09/21/2010 at 11:28 am #1936287yes they are still available. We are selling them at WGA events. they are inexpensive and quite nice, and have been selling like hotcakes.
They are only available at events, as we are not shipping them to keep prices down.
Watch for the next event and make arrangements with someone attending to pick one up for you, if you cant make it. I can likely get one for you delivered right to Hayward.

Initial announcement showing the shirt design:

We began selling these at the West Bend Cache Ba$h event.
They were also sold at the Geo-Picnic event at Roche-A-Cri:

There’s the kickier. Ok. Were these shirts available at the WGA Barnes CITO Event??? What if I’m more than willinig to pay for shipping AND HANDLING

Yep, I looked at the time line on the shirts and they were done being printed on August 5th in Milwaukee. We were shooting for them in time for the Cache Ba$h and the vendor exceeded our expectations and has since on subsequent orders. I don’t think it was physically possible to get them completed any sooner or get a supply of them to Barnes.
We kicked off the project to produce this shirt on July 8th. At that time it was just a suggestion made during a picnic committee discussion. It blossomed from a simple idea to over 200 shirts being produced for sale. To put that into perspective, we only produced about 20 Geo-Picnic event T-shirts this year.
I understand your frustration with the lack of an online sale for the shirts. We’ll do what we can to make sure that they are offered for sale at WGA events around all the regions of the state.

Does that route take ya by any post offices? I’ll give ya $5 to boot and the cost of shipping. for the handling for droping a packge.
Could you not put it in the same package as the coins that you will be mailing me????

No, but it can be seen all the time about 3-4 miles south of RAC… at our house!

You are correct, the whole logo shirt idea came out of a forum discussion. The plan was to introduce them at the West Bend Cache Bash which is what we did. And, to sell them at upcoming WGA events, which we did at the picnic. -
