We haven’t had the opportunity to visit any of this series.. We will be seeking a few later this morning. There is an incredible amount of energy and work that went into producing and releasing these 50 caches last night. Socko has been working on them for about six months that we know of, and our local cache approveers have been working for several weeks to get these ready.
Go get-um folks.. these promise to be great fun.

Wow! Essentially a 51-part multicache! That’s gotta be a record!
At first, I thought that these were going to be scattered throughout the state, but I’m glad to see they are a little bit more concentrated in one area.
I know what I might be up to this weekend…
We took on 10 of them today. They are well done, most are family friendly. Good work Socko!
My money’s on the the Lil Otter! Can anyone else possibly beat her to this???
I’m not exactly a newcomer, but I’ll be hitting a bunch in the Zoo area tomorrow.
Hope to see a few hunters out there!
Now that we have completed a score of these, I can offer these observations. The series is a very worthy challenge. To be able to complete the series in less than a week is an admirable accomplishment. Trudy and I will do well to complete the series before the end of the month.
The adventure is in the hunt. Each hunt has taken us to a new park and offered new challenges. Some have added new brusies, cuts, scratches, abbrasions and bites. Some are very easy to find and some have been very difficult. Several have been kid friendly and some dog friendly… yuck!
On the whole, I stand by my initial recommendation. I am not dissapointed, but rather surprised at the level of quality that Socko has built into these caches. I enjoy seeing the kind of growth brought to our sport by State of Mind, RPaske’s Mother Goose and The Lil Otter’s 52-Pickup. Keep them coming.
