This is a question that comes up year after year and really needs to have some though given by the candidates:
With the number of events the WGA holds or sponsors through the year, what can you bring to the table to see that these events come off well?
looking forward to your comments.
thank you for your time.

Another very good question!
As Wisconsin State Advocate for Leave No Trace, the best thing I can bring to the table for future WGA Events is outdoor ethics education. Rather if its simply handing out geocaching hang tags or manning an info table like I do for the West Bend event, or putting on an awareness session, I feel I can be a huge asset for events that WGA Sponsors by helping us reach or goals that is in our bylaws on promoting CITO’s and Leave No Trace.
I enjoy traveling to all corners of Wisconsin to attend the WGA events (and others). We have attended every WGA event over the past 2 years (except the fall CITO, conflicts with Fire Dept Training both years) I enjoy working at the events, I have not yet chaired a event, but am looking forward to the 2013 Picnic that is in the NE quad of the state and tentatively scheduled for Gov Thompson State park.
I can bring good work ethics, quick problem solving when things start to go wrong, and can flip a mean pancake. (one of my favorite jobs at events)
Thanks for the question Pete
As a destroyer sailor I can bring a ‘Can Do’ attitude.

With my experience in the fire service and more recently in construction as an electrician I can make most things work.
As a leader I hope I can help, those that are willing, work effectively.
