is there a way to stop gc.com from sending me email notification on a geo-coin?

Yes. Go to Geocaching My Account Details, watch list, find the geocoin on your watch list and click on remove. I don’t seem to have any but my own geocoins, but I have to believe that’s were they would be listed to watch. Hope that helps Donna!

There should also be a clickable link from the notification for Remove from watchlist. That will take you to the confirmation page that you want to remove it from your watchlist.

If it is YOUR coin, I am not sure that you can without completely shutting off all your notifications from GC.com. If you did coin “sharing” with others at yesterdays event (and you own the coin), you will get an email for each log. Of course, you could put a bad email address in your profile for a few days until the wave of logs stop. You wouldn’t get any other notifications either, but it would stop the emails. Just remember to put the correct address back before you are due for a PQ.

I have the same problem with a TB. When I first signed up and was fooling around with things, I added a TB to my watch list. I have tried several times to remove it and have not been able to. If anyone has any ideas, I’d like to know. (I also e-mailed geocaching.com and they never responded.)

The recent changes over the weekend involved something with TB’s. Perhaps now things will work. Try whatever again……

this is my own geocoin, that i am using as a record of caches that i go to this year. i searched the coins page and there really doesn’t seem to be a way to not get notified about its logs.

you can’t really stop e-mails of your owned items (caches, TBs or coins) though you could make a filter for your e-mail that dumps them into another folder so you don’t have them clogging up your regular inbox. All your own items come with the subject:
    [LOG] Owner:
and then who made the activity, and which item
so you could further filter it out for just that coin if you wanted.
