I would go straight to the owner and master cacher JThorson as he has offered help to many on this cache. I agree it is a tough one but once you find it you will understand the clues.

    DJwini,

You can always use your GPS to go to .25 miles then just stop .003 miles (16 feet) short of where your GPS is telling you to go.

It took me four trips to find the GoN. Take a close look at the hint that the cache owner (the legendary Mr. Jeff Thorson) gave. Think about it.

I’m sorry, maybe you missed my email on the 31st:

You would have gone in a North easterly direction from the Wizards tower for
a distance of .247 miles. This will put you just in the woods along the
northern edge of the campus almost at the parking lot. In the woods, there
is the “evidence of the guardians”. There you find the final clue to the
cache, which is also nearby. I don’t know if I’ve said too much or too
little, so let me know if need more.

If that isn’t useful here’s the location of the Evidence(a little cryptically):

nort forty three oh for point IV six naught
west ate ate XV dot too six to

thanks for the info. we’ll get out and try it again when the wind isn’t so strong that it blows us away.
