We had a great time at the picnic. Carrie and I have a few suggestions which I hope you take as constructive feedback and not as complaints.

    – The cache page clearly stated to bring our own place settings, but I wonder if there were others like us who forgot or didn’t read the page in detail? Many of the group picnics that we attend, the utensils, napkins, plates, etc. are provided. Could the WGA provide these using the donations received? Or maybe assign these out to participants to bring instead of food?

    – More salads, fewer chips. Could the alphabetical assignments of what to bring be weighted toward salads? Chips are way easier, I know, but by the time we got our food, the salads were about finished, but there were a dozen or so unopened chip bags.

    – Group picture at lunchtime? Not a big deal, but I imagine a lot of people have to leave before 5:00. Although lunchtime isn’t ideal either because not everyone comes in for lunch at the same time, or are eager to get back out.

Thanks to everyone who put the work in to make the picnic a success. These are just a few of our thoughts that the planners may or may not have already considered.

This was one our first thought as we drove home. We brought extra and Sunshine passed them out to everyone that she saw eating potato salad with their fingers.
