Greetings from Sun Prairie!
Just wanted to say hi to my Geocaching neighbors.
We are new to the sport and I think this could be very addictive. Has the surgeon general written a warning yet? Ha ha.
Anyway, I’m waiting for my GPSr to arrive and don’t think it will make it for the weekend. Had to use dad’s for our first caching trip last week. What will I do all weekend….
Greetings!
Welcome to the fun.
Greetings right back at ya also from Sun Prairie! (I live by Northside Elementary) I’m Mel, aka Mama Fishcacher, and I’m pretty much *the* cacher in the family. I can persuade dh and/or ds to come along on occasion though.
When do you expect your GPS to arrive? Maybe you could go swipe your dad’s again, lol.
It really is an addicting sport. I don’t go out so much at this time of year because of the heat and bugs and plants, lol. I tend to get back into it more when the kiddo goes back to school – On a day off, I’ll drop him off at school in the morning and then head out for a day of caching.
Once your GPS arrives, you won’t have to travel very far to find a bunch of caches! We have a good handful right here within the city limits!

ECHO! I slow it down a bit in the summer for the same reasons. It will be nice in the fall once I get back out in full force and hit some of the caches around me I have been left as yet unfound. Enjoy the sport!!!! I look forward to reading your logs and hopefully finding your caches as well.
