Now that we’re all back and rested from the holidays, time to look forward to another big day of the year….Super Bowl Sunday.
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=9223267f-8295-4014-88c6-1dcf 6d19c98eFind some temporary caches with a football theme to them (prizes included), then a get-together for the Super Bowl.

01/04/2006 at 1:19 pm #1738703I thought the season was over and they canceled post season play????
Go Pack!!!!!!!!!
01/19/2006 at 3:28 am #1738704Time for a bump. Need more folks to sign up or this one may be cancelled.
01/29/2006 at 5:02 pm #1738705This event is only one week away (next Sunday). If you are planning on attending, please post your “will attend” note by Thurs., Feb. 2nd at the latest, so I can have enough food for people. If you have not turned in your registration form, please do that also.
01/29/2006 at 7:25 pm #1738706I just signed up and asked Digital Dan if he wanted to go. He’s A LOT closer than me, but if the weather is suitable I can make the 1hr40min trek no problem. Busy weekend with my Geocaching class up here on Saturday, but why not make the whole weekend a Caching weekend!!
Keeping all parts crossed in hopes for good weather.
What’s everyone bringing for food type goodies??
01/29/2006 at 7:31 pm #1738707Dumb question here…but do we pay via credit card on the form only or can we pay cash in person????

You can do either. If you want to fax the form, you need to pay by credit card. Otherwise, mail a check with the form.

01/31/2006 at 1:57 am #1738709Coordinates for the temporary caches were marked over the weekend for the XL event. So far, only 20 people have shown interest in this event as shown by the will attend notes, and registrations have been received for 11 people. A reminder that the event is this coming Sunday, Feb. 5th.
If you plan on attending this event, please post your will attend note and send in your registration form ASAP (post note by Thurs. night at the latest), so I can have an accurate head count for food and beverages. If you sign up after that, I may not have enough for everyone. Thanks for your interest.
01/31/2006 at 3:10 am #1738710Faxing our reg. sheet over on Wed. Easier to do from work and that’s when I am there next!!
02/02/2006 at 3:32 am #1738711Bump back to the top….
Just a reminder, if you plan on attending the XL Geocaching event, that you post your will attend note by Thursday evening, so I can get a count for food and beverages for the event on Sunday. Also, please send in your registration forms ASAP.
02/03/2006 at 10:43 pm #1738712LAST CHANCE…If you are still planning on attending this event, please post your note by Saturday morning, as I will be getting food for the event on Saturday afternoon. I want to make sure I’ll have enough food for everyone who plans on attending. If you have not sent in your registration form, please bring it with you to the event on Sunday.

02/06/2006 at 1:12 pm #1738715Great to FINALLY meet you Mike. Enjoyed meeting some really FUN newbies too. Worth the 1hr 40min drive. My butt is draggin’ this morning, not having gotten to sleep till about midnite!! LOL Oh well… a cachers gotta do what a cachers gotta do! Total of 28 for Sunday. Got to see some wonderful areas around time. Lots of miles on the car, but well worth it.
