I was near Wautoma this afternoon for the Wisconsin Storyteller’s Get Together and wanted to grab five caches along my route up there. Weddings messed up any chance at two of them, so the number of finds we have right now…….666!
Trekkin’ is at an encampment in Ft. Atkinson Iowa this weekend and planned to grab a few down there. Too bad they don’t have wireless access in that period correct 1820s camp! We would not have this problem then! 🙄
Well, between the two of us, we had more DNFs this one weekend than probably our entire caching career. Tonight’s was especially disgusting!

So our advice to anyone is–should you ever find yourself at this number of finds, quick, even if it’s 2AM in the morning, go find another one so you never, ever have to claim this find number!
Yeah, well it’s not YOUR shirt that got trashed! LOL What makes it even more humiliating is that we didn’t find the darn thing. A 1.5, for crying out loud! BigStick had no luck either, so I suspect in that very public place, it got muggled.
But maybe not.
P.S. So Brett, the partial nudity didn’t do it for you? Just the feces? What does THAT say about you? 🙄
Well… it’s common knowledge that I’m kind of funny like that :D.
But that was a good point, if Doug can’t find it, I’ve got a feeling it’s not there. I was going to try for that one on my way home from Whitewater yesterday, but it was raining cats and dogs when I got to Lacrosse.
BTW…. I got another 5 Earthcaches yesterday as well as clearing all of Wisconsin’s counties. Yeah Me!!
If I’m not mistaking, isn’t Marc having an Event in Appleton on Saturday? If so and if I don’t have to work. I’ll be there. There is even an Earthcache in Appleton that I haven’t hit yet. 😀
