Better for us would be moving the dates around every year – not always the same weekend of the same month, as we almost always have conflicts.
This is a good idea, but it may be challenging to find a weekend that is early enough in the year, to avoid the summer crunch, yet late enough that it’s not terrible weather. But again, I’m sure the new board will love the feedback. Keep it coming.

The dates have always been to avoid Mother’s Day and graduations in the Spring and after Labor Day in the Fall. The one day Fall picnic is typically because the kids are back in school to my understanding.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
I believe the current seated BODs have the ability to make a decision NOW, after a bit of discussion. By the time a new BODs discusses and decides, we will be looking at reserving a location for 2021 (unless that was the original intent of the poll).
