Don’t we all have these goals? Right now, ours is to get all the caches in our 50 mile radius, and the zuma miles. We have to do all the zuma miles, because doggone it, the final is at the top of our “not found” list, LOL.
So we’re getting down there on the 50 thing. Except for up in the Whitewater Valley and some yet in the Black River forest area, they are all pretty scattered and far flung. We have 85 left. I decided to do a new pocket query for all the hard terrain caches in Wisconsin, 4.5 or higher. Most of them are canoe/kayak caches, which is the whole idea.
There are 100 of them! A new goal? Not sure. Trekkin’ has lately decided he loves 1/1s…can this marriage survive? 🙄
If I only searched for caches within 50 miles of home, I’d never clear them all. It took me a year to clear the caches within 10 miles. Then again, there are a few more caches in these parts.
I’d bet that Trekkin’ will hate the query unless you provide something a little more “interesting” as a reward at the end of the search.
Good luck on completing the “Miles” series of caches. I focused on them for 2 weeks, and there are a lot of great caches in that series, some of em a lil on the tricky side. But they are all a lot of fun.
Also good luck on getting your 50 mile circle cleaned out. I tried that last year, and got my 50 mile circle down to 11 caches unfound. However, with all the traveling I have been doing, I now have 58 unfound caches within 50 miles, so they pop up faster than ya can get em.
When ya do get to the final in the miles series, there is a couple of jeeps there, so it will be great to set one of em free.
zuma
try getting all within 50 miles in Appleton. Sheesh all those GD puzzles will drive a person crazy.
