I am going to start taking orders for the WI MWGB group coin project. As a little added bonus the first 5 people who are willing to make a $50 deposit on their order will be able to have a free sample coin done in their choice of colors. I am trying to keep this a “group project” which means to me I don’t spend any of my money on it and I don’t make any money on it – I will pay the same thing for my coins as everyone else.
The total price for 20 personalized coins including shipping will be $150. Each coin over the 20 will be $5.00, up to 50 coins(total price of $300 for 50 coins). The reason the coins get a little cheaper after the first 20 is the initial order includes a set up fee for printing(at almost $1 per coin if you are only getting 20), a portion of the “art fee” and the shipping charge. These coins are 1.75″ and will be trackable with a custom icon. You will have your choice of metals and colors including glitter and glow in the dark.

02/19/2008 at 12:16 am #1884252I have one spot left for anyone interested in a free sample in their choice of colors. Anyone willing to put a $50 deposit down on their order now will get a free sample coin in their choice of colors. (the $50 will come off your total order) I want to get the order in by the end of this week (the mints just reopened from their 10 day long New Years celebration). If no one is willing to put down a deposit on their order I will have 2 samples for myself 😛 .
I plan on taking orders until Mid May, but I have to start working on it now so we can get samples first and leave time to make any revisions, if needed. I think it will be a hot trader at MWGB. A great way to get some different coins and not have to spend $10 each on them. Also a great way to get some geocoins for traveling.

05/28/2008 at 2:27 pm #1884254At long last pictures………….. I actually got the samples in hand just in time to take them with to the WGA campout. The sample where all made in nickel – but you can have your choice of metals. Samples where mailed yesterday to those who ordered them. You can still make changes in your final order. I will be taking orders until June 22. At that time the orders will be going to the mint just to make sure that we have our coins in hand for MWGB. If you are thinking about ordering please do so ASAP, so if there are any questions they can be dealt with before the final day. Check the first post for ordering details. Thanks – Robin
