About 1/3 of my 33 TBs are missing but what confuses me is the icons for the location.

Is there a key that tells you what they mean?

    There is a grey box
    There is a green box
There is a grey happy face
There is a green happy face

What does the color code mean?

The only one of mine that is a green smiley face I have in my inventory. The grey smiley face is in someone possession as far as I can tell.
all my other TB and coins are marked missing and they are grey boxes with question marks.

In short I don’t have a clue what those colors mean, but I would like to know, LOL.

The green color means there’s been activity in the last two weeks. The smiley face means a cacher has it, a box means that its in a cache.

the grey ? means that it has been marked as missing by the owner

Grey means that there hasn’t been any activity on that traveler recently – it’s “stale”. I thought the color changed after one week, but it might be two.

What a shame that so many go missing, me included. I decided I am not going to spend my money and send any more out…. 😥

It is frustrating. Trekkin’ doesn’t want us to put any more out, but once in while, we will. I do have one coin that is working it’s way on its mission. We started it in one of our caches, want it to go to the Pacific coast to watch the whales migrating, then head back this way. Passing Wind grabbed it at some point and got it to San Diego, where it sat for quite awhile in a cache. Then it was picked up and has been moving up the coast now. I think it’s near Vancouver Island right now.

We’ve actually only had one coin vanish so far. There’s another that seems to have been held by someone for a long time. Our TBs move around now and then. I think my Red Hat actually showed up at the West Bend event. It wants to go to fun places, so it sounds as if it’s doing just that!
