I’m trying to figure out why mileage doesn’t seem to be accruing to various travel bugs and coins.
Here’s one as an example:
TB2PG2P – http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2106784
Started in the valley…got picked up…went on a trip…shows 0 miles in my inventory… ❓
Awile back there was problems with the mileages not totalling up but I thought they had that problem fixed.
At that time the work around was to manually refresh the miles by using the drop down box over to the right of the page and get ‘recalculate distance’ and then hit the go button.
That works, thanks. I wonder where the glitch is.
We have a whole bunch of the school kids TB’s out covering the last 3 years. Probably half of them (that are still in circulation…) properly recalculate the miles when they get moved, and about half rarely/never do. We do the manual recalculate step described above zas we compile stats and move the map pins around.
This is not a new glitch. We’ve noticed this on quite a few of our TB’s. It would be nice if it worked the right way, all the time.
