For an animal that slugged a 50 cal. machine gun through some tough southeast asian rice patties, I don’t imagine there are many more tougher out there commander. I also imagine there were many who did indeed find out that you do shoot back.
Just you GPS tomorrow though.
10/09/2004 at 5:56 am #1737527Just wondering would a brown fur coat be inappropriate to wear Saturday?
The way I see it if your not living on the edge your taken up to much space.10/09/2004 at 6:37 am #1737528Hmmm…could tomorrow be a day for some “firewater” Commander? Hee! Hee! See you in a few hours! I’ll be the one in the caching clothes , riding in someone else’s bus, driving someone else’s computer & pda, and offering water to the class.
10/10/2004 at 1:15 am #1737529The team cooked this area today! How could we not when the day started off so well! Lots of smiling faces, lots of vehicles, lots of laughter, lots of conversation, an Unevent Event Bug and could it be? Wait…that looks like…it is! Oh my gosh, it’s Kelly! And it’s only 8:00… …LOL!
Thanks to everyone who made it out for an Unevent-ful day! Now…don’t bug me!
A special thanks to Tie for coming out to see what the Team is all about![This message has been edited by Linus4Cache (edited 10-09-2004).]
10/10/2004 at 3:27 pm #1737530I just want to thank everyone for helping thru the caches and for really making me feel welcome in the Team. I had an absolutely great time yesterday. I’m definitely feeling it today, though. Exactly WHY did I walk along for the whole way on “You’re Kiln Me Here” ???
Special thanks to Bob for picking me up. I couldn’t have enjoyed the people and the caches without your help!
10/11/2004 at 3:16 pm #1737531Can’t remember for sure who took the photo of the whole group (was it Bob?) — but were you going to post it here for us to copy?
10/17/2004 at 9:06 pm #1737532i don’t get onto the forums very often, so i missed this group outing. i remember seeing a group outing earlier that went hunting for an underwater cache at devils lake. i think it would be fun to go on one of these small hunts, and if it’s not about the numbers, you don’t need an event cache log. but for someone like me who doesn’t read the forums very often, having it as an event cache would have brought it to my attention early enough to have gone along. but then again, it wouldn’t have been a small group anymore…
perhaps there could be some other method of alerting wga members to small group outings like this.10/17/2004 at 10:31 pm #1737533Anyone interested in being part of Team Badgers outings needs only to watch the announcements or send Cashing Out your email address so he includes you with info letters.
The fact that they are smaller groups is a nice thing – it allows everyone to talk to one another (if they wish to).The newest thing coming from Team Badger is a series of Multicaches put out as challenge caches. They might be hard and fun, so if its not about the numbers but the hunt – you might want to try these.

If you’re not one to watch the forums you amy want to reconsider at least one page. Someone from the team always posts a note on the “Looking for someone to cache with” page. So check that one out periodically. Yes, the small groups are nice, but we never limit the number of people attending. I highly recommend a walk with Team Badger for anyone who wants to find new ways of approaching all types of caching situations. The support of the group is amazing. And the conversation.. well you just have to be there to appreciate that!
