Team Badger will be marking the re-election of our Commander-In-Chief this Saturday, Nov.20th at 9 A.M., by attempting Folk Traker’s Executive Order…VOTE! (GCJBJY)
The cachemiester has informed me there is limited parking just to the west of the starting coordinates, otherwise more parking is available across the street in the Jewel and Piggly Wiggly parking lots. Once again I’d like to remind everyone what Team Badger is all about.
    A. We are a group of cachers who enjoy the more difficult, challenging caches.
    B. By joining together, we increase the odds of success, by pooling various strengths and talents.
    C. We enjoy the friendship and camaraderie of hunting as a Team.
    D. Team Badger is open to anyone willing to join us. Team spirit and a smile are all that is required.

In case there is a question of ethics in our methods, just ask anyone who has joined the Team on previous missions. We implement the “Finder’s Tree” policy. You have to experience it to know how much more fun it adds to the finds. Unless of course, you are the last one to find it.

We hope to see you there!

Okay, I’ll be the first to jump on this one since it was my idea. Hey commander, does that mean I’m the idea carrying margarita girl? LOL! I had thought we were meeting earlier. Now it just makes it more of a challenge to finish before I have to leave for work. See you on Saturday!

Okay, wait…I stand corrected…I asked a group of cachers if they had any suggestions for our next outing, while Geoff and Sara were there, I believe it was actually Mrs. Traker who suggested the cache…there was some excitement about it within the gathered group and Mrs. Traker wrote down the info for me to pass along to you. So…I suppose it is Mrs. Traker who gets the credit…I was simply the middle man. But hey, I did ask for suggestions and I pour a mean margarita so… …LOL!

Sorry I can’t join you. I will be at a scout outing near the new “Leave No Trace” cache. Have fun. I did this one right after it came out. I know know the area very, very well. You will enjoy it. Have fun looking for the final.

Team Badger plus a few new, minus a few old…came together today to “Vote”…in the spirit of all that is good and fun and healthy and inspirational (and…) we arrived at suspect cache number one. Some of us were late…(I was driving the bus so I’ll take blame for that one), but those already there didn’t seem to mind (until they found out we were eating flap jacks(…then it was game on! …) Some learned the meaning of the finder’s tree, while others perfected their methods of its use. And of course there were those who couldn’t find the tree if it was LEFT UP near us…hee! hee!
Todays team: Commander Bob, Qwerty2, Greyhounder and Mom, Natloh2, Brkster, Trudy and the Beast, Folk Trackers, Spiderjugs (on time and knowing right where she was going!!!), rpaske, Mr and Ms WI Searchers (awesome to have you two back in action…hootie hooo-oooo! ..), jojomcjo, freespace69, Our friend from the Northern Flatlanders and myself (oh please tell me I didn’t miss anyone!)
We approached the target with great anticipation. Having been waiting for this date to appear, several of us we growning quite anxious and ready to complete it. Off we went…oh no, not another police car near the busses! Why is it always by my bus? Oh, it’s just Kelly’s friend.
So with the brain power drawn to the small areas we travelled, we made quick work of the cache, even stopping to grab another in the same park. Yippee…back to Vote! Found final co-ords, got grade of 100%…got the hootie on the final, signed log and headed out. Yikes!
Thanks to Folk Trackers for placing this wonderful cache! And thanks for coming out to walk it with the team! Can’t wait to see what’s next from you! Thanks to all the Team Memebers who were able to attend…you guys made my day one giant laugh!
TNLN Thanks again for the cache! And as always, Happy Caching!

I had a great time hunting down ‘Executive Order-Vote” with Team Badger. Even though I had already found it last May, I figured I would tag along and visit with other geocachers, but the fact is…everything we reached from WP#3 to the tag just before the final was new to me (altogether there were 28 individual waypoints one could choose)so I had the experience of looking for four tags I had never seen before. I guess I took the 20% and the 80% correct routes before (80% is still acceptable to reach the final)instead of the 100% route. Either way, it was a total success to meet other geocachers both familiar and new to me. Thanks to Team Badger and Folk Trakers for a really neat experience.
