I think they call that test anxiety.

Lost Boyscout and I will be departing for school by 5am so that we can cache along I94 from Milwaukee cleaning up some that we haven’t done yet. We will need to head home by 4pm.

      So, anytime works for us.

AstroD is thinking of joining in the fun of this one. Will keep checking for time and location.

      I have an idea…

      #1750627

i had an idea once. it gave me a headache.

      hee! hee!

      Okay, so…
      Date: Sunday, April 23,2006
      Time: 9:00 AM
      Meeting Place: N43° 08.617 W088° 55.676

We’ll meet at the above time and location to attack the first three in the series. From there we’ll move North and with any luck, we’ll grab them all before anyone has to leave us for the day.

      ****NOTE****

Team Badger always uses the “Finder’s Tree” when hunting caches. Please be aware of this and practice it on Sunday. (If you’re not sure what this means, no worries…we’ll review on Sunday.)

Be safe and see you there.

      Oops…forgot…
When nearing the area you may turn radios to channel 11.0

If you’d like a phone contact, e-mail us and we’ll give you one.

Hmmm…I have to work in the afternoon. Depending on what time I decide to wake up I may join you for one or two.

Update your PQs…1001 got published today, so one more for the fun. Actually started looking at these and I’m salivating over 301.

Also, between 601 and 1001 is another cache called The Peaks of Portland. Probably makes sense to grab this one on the way.

In the 101 description, he refers to this cache as a “stop bath” cache. My only knowledge of this term is in photographic development, and I doubt that he hid the cache in an acetic acid bottle. Anyone know what he is talking about?

      #1750633

I’m seriously considering attending the school. After not caching for most of the winter I could definitely use a refresher.

Anyone in the Milwaukee area planning on going at a reasonable time (not 5am )? If so, let me know (jeremy at vechinski dot com) and we can car pool, otherwise I will be bringing the cycle.

Do we know if there is enough room (parking) for everyone at the listed meeting coords? If necessary some of us could meet someplace (in Lake Mills? or the Park and Ride at WI-26 and I-94?) prior to 9 and consolidate the group into fewer vehicles.

Just a guess that it might mean that it is a film canister container? Otherwise it means that we’ll get so muddy we’ll need to stop for a bath before moving on to 201…

He has a few other caches that are of the stop bath variety. It was a small brown glass bottle in those instances.

It looks like I will be there at least for the morning. After reading some of the logs it sounds like I will end the day with wet feet, but after a three month hiatus I figure it’s time to get back out there.

Heading out in a few minutes to get some rubber boots. Order of the day will be water proof hiking boots inside rubber boots. OR… You could take the cache owners suggestion and tie garbage bags over your feet. (We will be taking up a collection to bribe MB into doing the entire series in garbage bags…. or maybe not (ducking!).

I wouldn’t want MB to get wet or muddy, maybe we should put her entire body in a closed trash bag. Might be fun for a little while, but then we would probably need to CITO her out. Not sure CB would be too thrilled with that.

        Just kidding Robin!!!!
