“Tympanuchus cupido pinnatus” (GC109DW) is where the newly-retired Team Sloughfoot found cache #2400 on a 20 for 20 day.
Not letting any grass grow under their feet these days! Congratulations, John and Gail!
So, were the chickens booming? Sitting in those blinds out there to watch them and hear them is quite the experience!
Congratulations on the milestone. Looks like you’ve already made great use of your retirement!
Congrats! We make great book ends! 😀
Glad you didn’t chicken out on finding that cache! 😉
Congrats on the milestone. I saw that you were making a swoop through the region as the cache reports came into my phone. Glad to see you’re enjoying your retirement! I hope we cross paths again soon. Take care.
way to go guys
Congrats!
Warm congrats, John and Gail! I know it’s the journey for you two and not so much the numbers, but WTG on the 2.4K! And, I too want to know, were the chickens booming? 😉 Hope to plan ahead and meet up with you when I get to your home turf. We miss you already in the Valley.
Thanks everyone for the cheers.
The chickens were NOT booming. We did several caches in Prairie Chicken range but didn’t spot any. It was a cold windy snowy day maybe they were hunkered down.
Congrats to JimandLinda also. We were both sitting at #2400 at the same time, that pretty cool for no planning.
Retirement is great and I hope everyone gets to experience it!
Big Congrats on the 2400, John and Gail.
