Just to get some conversation going here……
We’ve discovered over the years that in general, folks come to this game from two different angles. There are those who love the technology and gadgets and become more outdoors oriented when they discover geocaching.
Others were already outdoors folks and maybe learned about geocaching from a friend, or because they caved in and bought a GPSr instead of the trusty compass for their outdoor fun.
Which one fits you?

Worth the watch if you have a little time. I was laughing pretty hard at times.

04/14/2014 at 10:26 pm #1975775My wife wanted the GPS to get outdoors, but since I am the gadget person, I got caught up in the technology side. Guess who does all of the geocaching now, Me.

That is amazing…I wonder what they would do if they were confronted with “Hi-Fi” and 78, 45, and 33 and a third pressed disks. I didn’t have problems with that technology…but then again NOW IS A VERY DIFFERENT TIME.

04/30/2014 at 11:26 pm #1975779While I’d like to answer both, I think outdoors would over take technology. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve told the other half “I just like to be outside!”
05/01/2014 at 1:05 am #1975780I’ve been exploring the outdoors of the north woods since childhood. GPS technology has enriched it.
05/05/2014 at 1:34 am #1975781Where is the option for both? We like being outdoors but we are both big time geeks.
