I received a surprise in the mail yesterday – a “get well” card. It was signed by a whole gaggle of cachers (from the recent Waukesha Event??). It sure is nice to witness the kindness from a wonderful community of people that we call geocachers. I’m happy that I can count geocachers as some of my very best friends.

    So here’s an update:
I have been unable to get out much in the past two months except to the weekly Kenosha geochers Wheypoint Coffee Clutch. Bunion surgery on both feet has derailed my caching activities for the time being. Honestly it’s derailed nearly everything in my life as I’m barely able to walk.

I hope to be able to hobble out to my truck and drive again in a couple of weeks. Once that happens, I’ll be out caching I’m sure. I’ve got a bunch of containers ready to go! I can’t wait to try out my new feet!

Again, thanks to all you cachers who’ve extended your concerns, warm wishes and random acts of kindness.
