This weekend the newest version of the WGA board of directors will meet and get things going for the upcoming year. They will also elect officers to take on certain BOD duties for the year.
To the new members, we say welcome, and we give you our support.
To the outgoing members, we say thank you for sharing your time and your skills.
To other past members, we give our appreciation for your service.
For the new officers, we say thank you for taking on the hard work you will be doing.
For the departing officers, we say thank you for what you have contributed to this organization during the past twelve months.
For future BOD candidates, members, and officers, we thank you for your willingness to serve.
Geocaching for us would not be what it is without the WGA, its board and officers, and all of the general membership who help make our favorite activity the quality that it is in our favorite state.
Thanks, SL, and thanks to the voting membership that put there trust in us.
I am looking forward to the next 2 years of service and will be establishing member contacts from various parts of the state for their input on issues that arise during my term. The entire BOD will need the continued help of the membership to make the WGA Events (and geocaching) even better than they have been.
I welcome any questions/comments that you have. You may not like the answers to your queries, but I will be as honest as possible!
Let’s have some fun! 😀
Yes! thank you, each and everyone. You are not thanked enough for your service. We really can’t add to what SL said so may we say we echo all she said!
Thanks again,
TE

As one who’s been on the other side of that table briefly, I offer my everlasting thanks for all who step up to serve. Thanks!
