After placing a cache in Illinois almost a week ago and still having heard nada from the IL approver, I have a new respect for the great job Brian has done as the WI approver.
With over 1500 active caches now in WI, the load is not getting any lighter either. More than ever, we need to be aware of all the work that goes on behind the cache pages.

    Thanks!

It is something we all take for granted the hard work that many put in to our activty with little gain except the pride of knowing that the Wisconsin organization is one of the best.
Great job Brian and all of the others that make it better for everyone.

Allow me to put in my two cents worth. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

    Oops. Three cents.

I know Brian does a great job and is very busy. We can help him out by giving him as much information as possible when posting our caches. He mentioned that he really appreciates it when you state in the comments if you have specific permission to hide this cache. Often times that can speed things up for him (he, of course, still needs to check the area).

    Again, Brian. Thanks.

On a personal note, when I was down in Muskego area over Valentines, Brian, you never answered my email to buy you a soda pop to try to say thanks in person. Next time!

    Aw shucks… Thanks guys!

I feel a little guilty when I’m away and can’t get pages approved within a day or two. Guess I should’nt feel so bad 🙂

You guys are some of my best customers. It helps to have cachers familiar with the guidelines and sending me “reviewer notes”. It really makes the approval process a snap!

I have a feeling it’s going to be a very busy spring. We already had a flurry of activity after this little warm spell. Wait to the grass greens up and the flowers bloom 🙂

    Thanks again!

    OK… I’ll jump in on the Brian Love-Fest here…

A big thanks to Brian for pre-approving Lover’s Leap a week early, then activating it first thing in the morning on Leap Day. I’m sure the mad rush of cachers that quickly descended upon it thank you as well (especially Jeff’s cell phone provider as he had to sit on the phone with Otter for awhile to get the cache instructions )

I am definately a big fan of how helpful GrouseTales is.. when I was doing my 52-Pickup WWF (WI Waterfall series) he was so helpful and always kept me in the loop as how things were going.. Thank you again, GrouseTales for all your hard work..

Oh and.. you’re welcome, CheeseHead Dave(grins).. it just shows that even if I’m not out on the trails.. I still have a constant eye on Geocaching.. and enjoy helping anyone anytime I can, if able to.. but I know how often JThorson had to deal with my odd phone calls on clearing up my confusions here or there.. that’s really what impresses me the most.. the geo-buddy circles of friendships made because of our love of the sport.
