Is anyone interested in tackling The Beast GC1RGWB this weekend? We have a small (so far) group planning an assault on the Beast on Sunday, June 2 beginning at 9:00 am. We will be meeting at the landing on Seagull Drive (River Road) near cache GC125GE and paddling over to Big Island where we hope to conquer The Beast.

I’ll be there (I think). Unless my wife gives me a huge honey-do list! Bringing my canoe so I’ll need someone to paddle with me.
We were eyeing that one up already, for the near future. Sounds like I’ll be there to paddle along as long if the weather is good.
Now, I sent a message to WiHi offering up my second kayak. If she doesn’t take me up on it, I will offer it to anyone from the Valley that is interested in coming along. Got a spot in the truck, a kayak, and just ask that if anyone takes me up on it, split that gas and provide your own PFD(lifejacket).
