CommanderUSN is out west and had been saving this cache for his special milestone.
Though he hasn’t posted his Found It log yet, his wife, GrammyB, has logged hers and that is where this picture comes from.

We salute you, Commander! Congrats on the 5000 finds!
First the unexplained long wait, then the white-knuckle experience…nothing like the military, right? 🙄 😆 So glad you had a memorable excursion for your milestone at such a majestic place. Congrats!
Congratulations on 5000 caches.

Kristi had no idea what she was starting that day when she first talked about Geocaching with you. Congrats on the big milestone. Penguin13 😀
Congratulations! If memory serves, that’s one of two of Colorado’s 14ers that you can drive to the top. The view from the top is breathtaking, literally. What a great place to find a milestone cache.
