my guilt is a personality foible — can’t help it!
But the fact that I have logged temporaries is a testament to the quality of the hides — they’re good enough that I can overcome my guilt (for a little while).

Hey, here’s an idea: how about a “disclaimer” of sorts on the cache page? Something that states that the WGA allows multiple attended logs for the temporaries at the event. Then maybe a line or two about the event location request that all caches be removed at the conclusion of the event.

Maybe that will shut up a few of the complainers outside Wisconsin…..

States’ rights! John Calhoun would be so proud of the WGA. I agree with Greyhounder – there has to be some way around this.

As far as I’m concerned, and especially knowing how much effort it has taken me to hide the 100 caches for “The Highway 100 -100, one log per find is perfectly acceptable. To the best of my knowledge, only 1 of the series is closer than 1/10 of a mile. I purposly placed the caches at least 1/10th. to make them more chalenging.I also used as many different types of containers as I could to make it more interesting too. If it weren’t for the nightmare it would create making them each stand alone caches and the maintainence problems involved. I would leave them all up as permenent caches. My two cents is that after caching in 9 different states and seeing the overall quality of our states caches and events, I think we should allow temp. cache logs.

Gee, I guess I hit another sore spot because the reply I had to this post got deleted. Gotta love that censorship!
I think they just look for things in my posts that give them reason to remove them. One more reason I believe I’m making some people think!!! GO ME!
(ps…hopefully some underclassmen will see this before it’s deleted!)

At least some, if not all, are listening to what those who voted them onto the board are saying. Thanks to those of you who fit that note!

Do you mean this one? It still lives!!

… Or, maybe the system went wacko and deleted a couple messages without human-help? Because I had one after yours that seems to have disappeared, yet it didn’t say anything worth sensoring. I never say anything worth sensoring, much less worth reading … this is starting too **CENSORED** me.

As far as we can tell, it wasn’t anyone on the board that deleted it.

Hmm, after I posted the above I looked again, and Major Brat’s post is still there. It’s in a different position though, right? Very strange.

Sorry Robin, I don’t think anyone intentionally sensored you. I have a hunch I know what happened. I see where one of your friends on the board quoted your post with a message in agreement. I wonder if the wrong button was pushed. I think your message was accidently transfered as it ended up in a really unrelated area.

Ok, I’m now very confused. Is it missing or not?? The Board did not delete any postings.

If it’s the post she’s referring to, it’s #62 in the thread.

Brian was referring to a post in the Board forum. A post was made there, quoting and agreeing with MB.

Is it there at #62 also … thanks alot for making me count that high.

Maybe we’ve sent so many replies that the system is playing games with the messages or something … because mine that was after that is still gone and no one would have had reason to zap my meaningless comment.
