New game over at TheCachingPlace.
The fifth in our series of Adventure Games. This one consists of a series of messages that must be deciphered to advance across different regions in pursuit of The Golden Pocket Decoder that has been stolen by the Evil Wizard. In this game there is no geocaching requirements. Just different styles of deciphering.
This game is up and running…no geocaching involved though 😕
So, are you going to play?? Some teams have already finished. Thanks to djwini’s post in the forums I was able to print a nice large decorder wheel in case we decide to play. Thanks djwini!!. I use Firefox, so hope they have the problems with that fixed.
nope…no geocaches = little interest.
I like solving mysteries and decoding stuff, but what I mostly enjoyed about these games was the caching – figuring out what caches would fit the requirements and then figuring out how to go get them since it usually involved a trip or two. Remember the first one where we had to attend an event in November and there were only two in driving range – one in Eau Claire and one in Iowa? Good times.
I’ve participated in all four previous games, but probably not this one. I guess I’d rather be caching.
i wanted the coin/decoder and it looks like it sold out in a day. i like working on those puzzles at work, so i’ll probably play. i haven’t actually looked at the game yet.
In looking at the leader board for the game, there appears only two WI competitors thus far.
It is pretty interesting but can be a bit frustrating as a wrong click will lock you out for 1-24 hours which can really louse up plans if you have limited time to poke around at this one.
