I’m planning an expedition to snag this cache, sometime in January.
If you are interested, indicate dates……
Good Afternoon Marc:
Hemi, and I were talking about doing this. Would give us both a good time to break out the snowshoes!!! any weekend works for me.
Justin
I thought ths adventure happened ealier this yr??? or did you guys not end up going out on it?
Bunny, I had so much fun the last time, I want to share it with others!
Again depending on what day i’m willing to go with you guys!
I think January is pretty much open for me too.
I’d like to get in on this . Anyweekend will work for me. And maybe if anybody else wants to catch some others that day i’ll be up for them aswell.
You need to do this in July people! 🙄 A nice 6 mile hike for Marc…. 😀
Marc, are you still going to have the expedition if the marsh is not frozen? It might be iffy if the current weather pattern continues into January.
If you don’t have this the same weekend as the Waukesha Janboree (January 20th) and the marsh has a comfortably safe layer of ice on it, I would be willing to make a return trip to the Navarino area to grab this one.
Well, Jeremy, I had been thinking of the 20th, but since you mention other commitments….
How about the 27th? And probably yes, will try regardless of the freezing conditions. A snow storm, definitely not!
Ok, I’m picking ………
January 27th. 8:00 AM from Appleton……
Change in plans …………..
With the warmer weather, and lots of standing water, maybe this trip is off.
Will wait and see over the next couple of weeks.
Bump.
Is this thing on for the 27th Marc? The 10-day forecast shows no days above freezing until next Saturday. And if the ice is not in good enough shape, there is always the long (4 mile) and dry hike to the cache…
Still planning on it …………
Is there anyone out there interested in this Saturday?
