Thanks, We are from the Madison area. I love your name! I wish we could have a greyhound : / My dearest (the captain of our ship) grew up with one. I have a skunk though!

Welcome!
Well I have found over 1,000 with my Garmin GPSMap60Cx and I don’t know if I ever lost signal….my old Garmin Vista lost signal all the time. If you are going to spend the money get a unit that will “autoroute” and buy the detailed maps…..
Thanks I will give it a shot : )

Skunk — greyhound. Pretty much the same. Both can be stinky…
I’m not too far from Madison myself, so perhaps we’ll meet up sometime!

Skunk!!! I’ve always wanted one! Wow! 8)
Welcome!
Skunk? Cool.
Here is a picture of a GPS that never looses a signal. Not many bells and whistles but it will get ya there.

decdogg a.k.a.Rose and the thorn are going “global”! 😯
Welcome to the sport! I am also pretty new. I have a Garmin E-trex legend too. Bought new, used only a few times, and had a vertical line issue. Went to a forum, looked up technology issues, and found the solution. If you have 3.70 software version instead of the 3.90, you will need to download the 3.90. Here is the link:

Takes only a few minutes and have had no troubles since. The E-Trex Legend is the only kind I have ever used, it is a basic model, and since I am new to the game, poor, and technologically challenged, it works for now.
