Congratulations to Sweetlife for FTF on the cache and first to complete the challenge.

The easiest way to see how many you have is to run a PQ on the bookmark list, and then count up how many you have found. Then look at the unfound ones and see if you been to that falls for a different cache.

Congratulations Barry and Val! Our money was on you guys, as we happen to know TE is out of the area right now, although I’m pretty sure they must qualify, too. We look forward to visiting a few more of the state’s gorgeous sites and signing in on that log as well.

        Ralph,

If I’m understanding correctly, if there are two caches featuring the same falls, you have listed the older one. There is also a newer one at Potato Falls that isn’t on the bookmark.

We missed the classic. Don’t ask!

In answer to your question, if you read the rules for the Falling Water Challenge carefully, I mentioned that several caches have more than one qualifying cache, and that you can visit any of them. I wanted the bookmark list to be of the falls more than of the caches, so I just put the oldest, active cache on the bookmark list. I only included archived caches on the bookmark list where there is no active cache currently. And for the challenge, any cache, current or active qualifies.

        Hope that helps.

And as far as Potato Falls goes, I have been to the classic Lil Otter falls cache twice. Once years ago solo, and last summer with KSpud when I replaced the log for the owner. If you need a hint, I dont think that the owner or Lil Otter would care if I told you it is under the steps, under the next to last landing. Coords are tough down there given poor gps reception due to the rock walls. It is much easier to get to than the other Potato Falls cache.

          Ralph,

I thought I did read carefully….I’m claiming advancing age for my lack of clarity! [:)] Also, I thought since you’d suggested using the bookmark to check progress meant that you’d add things that got missed in building it. So now I C W Y M!!! I did get that you can only use one cache per falls.

As for the classic there…..we just didn’t even know it was there, as the map “stacks’ the two caches and I’d built our travels from the map. Get back to the cabin and TE asks if we got the Lil’ Otter one, too.

          There were TWO?
