For those of you attending the 2008 campout who have not been geocaching in Gov. Dodge State Park before, I hope you’ll plan to seek my two “permanent” geocaches in the park, which are located a short distance from each other.
“The Shocking Truth About Henry” (GC6B6D) is one of my favorite geocache locations because of the nice hike and spectacular view. Parents should be advised that ground zero may not be a safe place for little kids.
“I Dare You” (GC5A90) is a virtual cache that takes you inside a cave — lots of fun for the whole family. Bring a flashlight to find the answer to the virtual cache question.

I visited both of these 3 years ago with my daughters, then 17 and 20. Both are great caches!!!! My daughters scared the heck out of me doing “The Shocking Truth About Henry,” as they had no fear of falling. Awesome place. Those attending the campout will definately want to visit both.

05/19/2008 at 3:28 pm #1888990I spent my only free time visiting these two caches. Found a couple temps along the way.
Great caches !!
05/19/2008 at 5:59 pm #1888991These two were the reason we didn’t make it back in time for the group photo. 🙁 It took longer than we had planned for.
And even though it kicked my butt (those of you who met me on the trails may have noticed my round-ness) , it was worth it for a wonderful view of the park!
Nothing in the world can motivate this fat guy to climb a big hill more than a Geocache!

Just change “guy” to “gal” in this sentence and you’ve got my motto!!
