They said there weren’t enough lonely caches to be found. Some said their geomobile was bound to run out of gas. Many believed they couldn’t possibly keep up the pace. But unless someone is sitting on 1800 points to sandbag 8) , HP2 is the three-time Lonely Cache Game champion. Congraulations!
On the Left Side of the Road...12/31/2012 at 3:20 pm #1966489Congratulations! Thank you for keeping the lonelies in the game and the many many cache rescues you performed over the year! Looking forward to seeing you at the WGA LCG event on February 2, Groundhog day. Happy new year all!
12/31/2012 at 3:52 pm #1966490Congratulations to the Puffins! Way to keep all those caches found so they aren’t too lonely. 🙂

12/31/2012 at 3:58 pm #1966491Congratulations to the HP2 team. It’s great to see your passion for the game (LCG & Caching) and it certainly shows in your logs & photos.
12/31/2012 at 4:33 pm #1966492WOW! Congratulations! That’s some serious mileage, typing, walking, searching, etc. I’m exhausted just looking at it! I bet all those people who placed those caches appreciate it also.
12/31/2012 at 4:39 pm #1966493Congrats on a nice run, including a HUGE Cache Rescue safari to keep the state clean of geotrash! 😀
12/31/2012 at 5:50 pm #1966494Congrats HP2, pretty soon we’re going to run out of lonlies!
8) 8)12/31/2012 at 6:06 pm #1966495We still got 12 more hours to play!! I say lets wrap this year up with some more points, plenty of caches to still be found.
Congratulations HP2 on your efforts and well deserved champion title!
This was so much fun this year, I think I’m going to put more effort and time to play all year next year.

01/01/2013 at 9:30 pm #1966500Another great job by the dynamic duo. Best log writers and humble cachers I know.

01/02/2013 at 1:56 am #1966501Congrats HP2. One of my favorite creeping activities is checking out to see where you guys are traveling to keep Lonlies in the game. Thanks for all you do for these caches that might otherwise go unfound. Nice job on a three-peat. Hope to make it to the LCG event again this year! Keep on caching!

01/02/2013 at 5:20 am #1966502Many, many thanks to you all for your congrats and kind words! We certainly enjoy seeking out Lonely Caches (way too much, perhaps?), finding rewards through the new experiences we encounter along the way, and being thankful that doing so contributes to the positive objectives of the Game – a fresh and vibrant playing field across our entire State.
And grand kudos to:
those who keep the game running so smoothly, efficiently, and with a ‘user-friendly’ interface (Hey! When will the App be in the Store?);
those with the vision to create, and the fortitude to refine this great Game;
all the LCG players, ‘old’ and new, that keep the Game and caches of Wisconsin fresh, alive, inviting and rewarding;
and to the many CO’s across the state, who generously give of their creativity, time, energy and expense to make Wisconsin such a wonderful place to be a geocacher!
Here’s to hoping you can envision and aspire to some of the many great geocaching adventures that await you in 2013 – in both Wisconsin and beyond – and may your 2013 geocaching experiences be better and more rewarding than you can even imagine! 🙂 🙂
