Interesting to see the activity on a members only cache. However, there is always Miata.

MB01/17/2006 at 11:40 pm #1760696Thats all I looked at that cache page was 427 times??? What was I thinking!
You can tell my heart is not into this stuff at the moment. And it is very hard to type this reply with the pencil in my mouth and the straight jacket on!
01/18/2006 at 12:12 am #1760697How do you know how many times someone looked at the cache page?

MBAnd what was the point in replying to it! As far as I know the back button at the top works!
Hay Marc I had someone from over seas check out some of my caches. It was pretty interesting. Wish they would do that for all caches.
01/18/2006 at 1:58 am #1760700Russell – I saw a cacher from NJ looking at one of my puzzle caches. Just out of the blue, I sent them an e-mail. turns out to be the brother of a cacher from Appleton. The brother in NJ got the one in appleton started.
Small world ……
01/18/2006 at 2:35 am #1760701Wow – I’d never looked at the audit logs of my MO caches before! So many people.
Interesting.

* * * * * * * * * *01/18/2006 at 4:26 am #1760702This was very informative. I don’t own any Members Only caches and didn’t realize you could find out stuff like that. I guess it helps in some cases to see if that certain someone needs help on the cache….Like Miata…viewing over 400 times LOL I might then send a “Can I HELP you in some way??” e-mail….or maybe NOT!!

2nd reply – number after person’s nameI’m not sure why it is that I’m not allowed to ask a question on these forums without having people going on the defensive. The original question about the point was just a question. After reading what some others have written, I can now see that it’s simply your keeping track of your cache activity. That’s pretty much all you would have had to reply to me, instead of the sarcastic, petty response you gave.
As for the second question, it’s obvious where to find the number of visits on this thread. The question was asking how you find out on the cache page…not the thread here. And I’m still asking that question. How do you know how many times someone visits your cache page? Is this something that’s on all cache pages, or just the ones open to premium members?
As for this one:

Not that I need to explain myself to you, but I had a couple of questions, so I asked them. If you don’t like them, the “back button” works on your computer as well.
01/18/2006 at 4:57 am #1760704Relax folks – it’s a hobby…
Get upset at politics…
01/18/2006 at 9:38 am #1760705The option to view a caches page views appears when you have a “member-only cache”. It’s a neat feature. I too would like to see that function enabled on all caches.

I dont want you to explain yourself! Dont think I would understand! But if you had a couple of questions to ask why didnt you just ask them! The boards are just the same as the last hobby I did! People are quick to jump on people that post here when they dont like what they post! People like you are what makes the hobby go down hill. They dont want to post questions for the fear that someone will jump down there throat! With that said I am done with responding to you!

1st – tongue in cheek, or at least I thought so!
2nd – thought that was the asnwer you were looking for. There’s no accounting for Russell. You either live with him or ignore him.
01/18/2006 at 2:07 pm #1760708Miata has a little utlility program that he runs and it causes the computer to refresh the cache page, over and over again. Makes it look like he is looking at the page that often.
I feel sorry for the guy – no friends, no life, etc – so I create these little topics to keep him occupied. And off the streets, where he might cause a major disturbance.
