I think it should be changed, maybe:
2 Out of Breath Birds List
or
Route of the PuffinsI mean seriously, its the 15th, 600.5 points!! Sheesh!
Thanks HP2 for keeping them alive!
01/15/2013 at 10:56 pm #1967247I guess Puffy is determined not to get rattled or swooped this year – lol.
Nice going, Puffy 🙂
01/15/2013 at 11:13 pm #1967248I have found a few of the caches that they located and have several others on my watchlist.
It really is enjoyable to look at their logs and read what they had to say about the journey. I don’t know which one of you is the writer, but your logs bring back great memories in the stories you tell.
Thanks
01/15/2013 at 11:45 pm #1967249Those lonelies are available to anyone who wants to visit them. They don’t even have to be on the LCG list to look for them. Lots of neat places to visit in the state… on BOTH sides of Highway 64!
More visitors, fewer lonelies.

01/16/2013 at 3:41 am #1967251And I thought that my 40 points was good. Decided that I would try to give LCG a shot this year.

You don’t have to compete to play the game. Your 40 points just let everyone know that four caches are still in play and ready to be found. That’s how the game works. And congrats on joining the fun, Barry!
We’ve been playing since the LCG began five years ago and have never racked up the big numbers. But we’re having fun.
01/16/2013 at 12:09 pm #1967253Can’t wait to see what they do in the second half of the month….

I agree with Sandlanders about how awesome it is to keep the caches in play, but I would have to disagree that Sandlanders has not racked up big numbers…Sandlanders finished 22nd in points overall for 2012, I think that is a big deal…and if anyone is interested in more stats, hey, come to the WGA LCG event on February 2, 2013…I just got done crunching some numbers and 40 points in a month is an excellent average…how excellent? Ah, you can find all that out at the event 😀
01/17/2013 at 2:44 am #1967255Cannot say for sure that we will make it, Val has a Dr. appointment in Madison on the 1st. if we stay in Milwaukee overnight, we might just make the event on the 2nd
01/17/2013 at 9:52 pm #1967256My guess is that an average of 40 points a month would have put you in the top 10 for the year 2012. (Just a guess from someone who averaged 39.4 pts/mo) 8)
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

BigJim, your analysis is excellent. Congrats on an awesome LCG year to you too, you averaged 52.6 points over the 9 months you played the game last year which powered you to tenth. You also had an awesome smiley rate…a new statistic I created and hope to share at the event…at least I think I created it, it probably has been used elsewhere 😀 .
