LOL! Itâs allowed. Iâm currently editing my third book for Drew Chicone, Salty Fly Tying.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

01/02/2019 at 3:39 pm #2061747Which board members’ terms are coming to an end? Do they want to run again, and if so, do we need to nominate them again?

The BOD members whose terms are coming to an end are: Brian Zubowski (zeman clan), Renee Vanselow (AuntieNae), Kelly King (King54130) and Jessica Krueger (pixiestix13). They would need to be nominated if they wish to run for another term. If you think that you would like to nominate one or more of them for another term, I’d suggest contacting them individually to find out whether or not they would be open to running again.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
01/02/2019 at 7:55 pm #2061750Thread Stealers is the most active in the site. Those of us that frequent here know who utilizes the resources we have have.
With that being said, being a BOD is pretty much the same except having to check in 3-4 times a week and making decisions based upon the membershipâs voice.
Itâs a 2 year commitment. Those years go by quickly. You also will know most of the people on the reigning BOD so youâre not alone. There is a buddy system that started a couple of years ago for events where a newcomer is paired with a veteran. You wonât be hung out to dry; I will personally promise that.
With that being said? Whoâs interested in being nominated? Sorry, pretty important stuff right here.

for January 4th. What’s everyone doing this mild weekend in Wisconsin?I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

01/04/2019 at 8:24 am #2061762Volunteering tomorrow for the River View Loppet XC ski race at Brule Wisconsin.  I’m doing the timing function for the race. A bit stressful when trying to tabulate all the age division winners!   But this type of mild weather for the skiers, especially for waxing the classical skis can be challenge.  But with the newer “racing no wax” skis they will have an easier choice, but they have to have bought that choice to make!

Love to watch this once.
