Here in East of Sandland we have been getting a freezing mist all day. My driveway is a sheet of glare ice, it should make cleaning up any craphas we might get tomorrow quite interesting.
01/22/2019 at 4:31 pm #2061983Better strap a pillow on your butt, along with extra elbow, wrist & knee pads, jar42. Maybe cleats too, since your driveway is hilly.
01/22/2019 at 5:06 pm #2061985How can it be rain when it’s 21 degrees?
my windshield kept getting iced up after awhile.
It has to do with the warm air aloft, and how thick the layer of the cold air beneath it is. That will determine if it falls as rain, sleet, or freezing rain. (She said, hoping she doesn’t sound like a know-it-all, when really it is only because of one meteorology class and years of watching weather forecasters explain things. 🙂 )

01/23/2019 at 5:28 am #2061990FTP for Hump Day…and a snowy one it is!
01/23/2019 at 9:11 am #2061991Hope this works….who else braved the cold the other night to enjoy the show in the night sky? I went skiing under moonlight earlier, then stayed up to enjoy the show.
01/23/2019 at 9:53 am #2061992There’s craphas everywhere today, but I think south of Green Bay has even more.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

01/24/2019 at 6:21 am #2062001I have such courteous cachers around here. A new series of 17 park-n-grabs was published Tuesday evening. The first pair out on the trail stopped after 7 to let others have some FTFs. The next couple grabbed 6 FTF’s which left 4 for me.

That’s cool stuff to know!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Guessing graphicsgirl’s caches? That is pretty courteous.

Yep. Ribticklers and 2 Old Crabs were out before me, but left a few caches unfound.
