All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
02/17/2019 at 8:45 am #2062373Trekkin’ is with our older son and our son’s friend at an ice fishing derby in Point. Tip-ups and bluegrass on the ice. Sounds like a fun day!

02/17/2019 at 2:18 pm #2062376Quoted from Offical Results are in article from main page–“So in this particular case we set a time and date knowing that the annual WGA BOD meeting is on February 23rd in an undisclosed place somewhere in the state of Wisconsin.” Other years too, the meeting location is always undisclosed. Just wondering, why all the secrecy?

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Pretty sure it has to do with the BOD becoming familiar with one another and being able to discuss the year’s agenda without having any other distractions so it has been carried forth as such. The meeting is very, very long and there’s barely enough time to get through the agenda and member suggestions.

Thanks for pointing that out to us. I know I’ve seen some long government meetings, and I’m sure this meeting on the 23rd will be rather short compared to some all nighters I’ve seen.

It’s at an undisclosed location that is safe and secure. Dawn have you chosen a designated survivor? 😉

02/19/2019 at 9:28 pm #2062389I will use post #13 to grant you all permission to post in the afternoon hours. As for that election I got to vote in today, it was the primary election for Mayor of Green Bay, and it looks like my guy is in the lead by a comfortable margin with a few precincts left to report. We’ll see what happens when the rest come in.
