:ftp: for page 1030!
03/11/2019 at 10:22 am #2062792We spent the better part of yesterday clearing the roof and removing a really impressive ice dam on the north side of the house. We got about half way done. Took us about five hours. Hoping we get the rest done this afternoon. The sump pump is at the ready. We would like to skip basement flooding this season. We’ve avoided it the past few years and want to keep that streak going! 😉
03/11/2019 at 6:18 pm #2062793Am going to the kickoff event for Oconto’s sesquicentennial celebration this evening. 150 years and still going strong…and it’s the birthplace of western civilization to boot 🙂
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)

I had seen this on Facebook the other day and figured you would go. I’m sure you’re doing your best to keep things interesting during your time there.

for March 12th. Been awhile since I’ve had one.I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

03/12/2019 at 10:50 am #2062799Today I made the change from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox being my default browser. Ever since Microsoft dropped development of IE, more and more websites don’t work or only partially work with it anymore. The WGA logo wouldn’t load on cache pages, and even eBay wouldn’t work anymore. I spent part of the morning migrating and organizing bookmarks from one to the other. Now every page and image loads. Not a fan of Google or Microsoft’s current browser offerings; they’re okay but I associate them with a lot of drama.
03/12/2019 at 11:07 pm #2062800I switched to Chrome on both the Mac and the Dell. Lousey colors with Chrome on the Dell, need to try Firefox. Windows Edge needs to be tried too. Looking at countertop material and they were all grey.

I am partial to Firefox but need to use Chrome for a lot of pages.

03/13/2019 at 7:38 am #2062803I have trouble with Microsoft Edge when trying to view the source code of a cache page for puzzles so am moving over to Chrome. I’ve used Firefox before on another computer but it seemed slow at times.

03/13/2019 at 9:51 am #2062804I’ve been using Firefox for over a decade now and couldn’t imagine using anything else.

03/13/2019 at 1:16 pm #2062805Our grand-daughter has a new favorite author. I just did some research, because we’re going to write a letter to her after school tonight. She lives in Red Wing, and mentions on her “about page” that you shouldn’t get her talking about, among other things,
“Northern Exposure.” I love her already!03/13/2019 at 8:10 pm #20628071030! That’s my bed time. Good night everyone.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
