01/29/2015 at 6:13 pm #2034694OK, TBC… Enough testing of the system. FTPs on the new website are working fine now.
01/29/2015 at 6:27 pm #2034695…says the FTP queen…
I’m working on getting into the top 5.
01/29/2015 at 6:44 pm #2034696I was on a posting diet on the old website. I had whittled quite a chunk off my posts-per-day average before the switchover, but since I can’t see how much I am posting now, I just post away. I don’t even know if I have more posts than finds here yet… though there are only 1550 posts in the drivel so far, and that is where I do the bulk of my posting. Gotta slow down on our caching, I guess. 😉

We’re heading to Breckenridge this summer with my family. My kiddos will be climbing a 14er, sadly I don’t think I would be up for that challenge. But I’m hoping for an 11,000 summit at least.

Breckenridge would be fun in the summer. We were just there skiing.

01/29/2015 at 9:16 pm #2034708Someday we hope to get back to Colorado Springs and hike the route up Pikes Peak. We almost took the drive up when we went a couple years ago and said….nope. Let’s do it on foot! We would have needed more time to acclimatize to the altitude. Even Trekkin’ was slowed down a bit when we were hiking in Pike National Forest just under 10,000 feet.
01/29/2015 at 10:07 pm #2034709I know, it’s depressing that I’m such a flatlander now. The altitude really kicks my butt these days. It doesn’t affect my kids as much though.
Gwyn, last time we went we took the cog railroad up Pikes Peak. It was a real cop-out on the hike but the train was such a fun experience.

01/29/2015 at 10:50 pm #2034710Our niece was in a summer repertory orchestra last year at Breckenridge and she did two or three 14ers while she was there. Course…she’s only 25!
