FTP Monday CELEBRATE AND CARE FOR OUR EARTH this EARTH DAY !!

Happy Earth Day to you lostcheq and everyone else.

Show of hands, how many of you all ended up with sunburn this weekend?

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I have a 20+ year tradition of walking the trails of Baird Creek Parkway in Green Bay and taking pictures along the way.  I was able to take advantage of the good weather earlier this afternoon to do just that as well as find a newer cache while there.

I actually got a bit of that a couple weeks ago after being out birding for the good part of a sunny day.  Now I remember to use that gooey stuff.

I think it only takes once before you don’t forget for the rest of the year . . .

Almost May if you can believe it! Heading up to the Northwoods Thursday morning to get the boat motor and find a few caches. Hopefully no frozen puddles then 🙁

Where in the great Northwoods?  I could potentially recommend a cache or three if it’s in the right general vicinity.

FTP Wednesday 4/24/19 The Ice is Out! on Chequamegon Bay, but we are still having cool nights. Hopefully with the ice out, the water will not be as cold for those “air-conditioned winds” off the lake!

A new cache published yesterday, and I was heading right for that neighborhood today anyway.  I might have to go and make the find on it, but there’s a report that the coords are 250 feets off though.

I found that new cache I was talking about, but it took awhile to get to it.  I’m just curious if I did the right thing considering the coords were off by 235 feet.  What I did is I logged the find seeing as how I found it and signed the log, but then I posted an NM log and provided the coords I came up with.  I have other concerns with the location, but I can always discuss that if anyone asks.

Local Dodge dealer has a 2019 Ram listed on their website. MSRP is $40K, truck is listed for $25K. I went to look at it after work today, but couldn’t find it on the lot. Can you say “Bait and Switch?”

My wife and I went to Memphis this weekend and St. Louis for our anniversary. We both enjoyed the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis and would highly recommend going if you are ever swinging by. Plus had to like the cache hidden in plain site around the corner from the museum.

Did you do any caching while you were in Saint Louis?  I would definitely recommend Forest Park if you ever get back.
