FTP for 06-05. They are doing the big reveal with my new position at work today. I’m a bit nervous!!

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Thanks guys! Want to know something that’s unbelievable? I work with a printer up in Eagle River and he said when are you going to come work for me? I told him I will be transitioning in the next few months into a new position here. He tells me all the better for your resume and he won’t quit trying to recruit me.

So I have something to fall back on I guess . . . LOL

For Friday, June 8.  I should probably be in bed by now, but I really don’t have much planned for today.

And it’s going to be a beautiful day!

We’re at the point where if I can’t come up with the means to move our tractor to the new house to till the new garden, all the work we did from planting seeds until now will be wasted. I have a lead…

Last official day of school for teachers. Meetings all day. Then three weeks (mornings) of summer school for me, unless I teach too well and they get work done early.

Speaking of meetings, time to head out to the first one.

Ok, I have a couple of minutes left…Looks like the next lonely cache to look for will probably be a DNF. Klutzyspuds’ only hide and they haven’t logged onto geocaching.com in four years. Last three posts on the cache are DNFs. What’s the position of the group about replacing a cache like this if the owner isn’t active?

If they log in on their mobile device it doesn’t show as being active on geocaching (or so I’ve been told). I’d try to both message & email the CO before replacing.

Replacing a cache for an inactive player will just result in a missing cache again down the road. IMO

In other news….we will no longer have mismatched shutters on the house! Trekkin’s hanging out the window in the next room painting, then we’ll both be out working the ladder. The window for the last set is on the second story and all the wires come into the house there. It would have maybe been smart to have them dropped, but he didn’t want to bother with that.
