The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
Where's George? Stimulating the economy one EMS'ed dollar at a time.
07/14/2019 at 12:01 am #2063714I predict an otherwise quiet day for the 14th, since I’m claiming an early FTP for the day.

No kidding. Yesterday we picked up “Detective” by finding a p/g a couple miles from where I had my gig in Belleville. Today we picked up a couple clues, finding some caches on our way home from hiking up Trow Mound early this morning. As I’m reading stuff in the “big” forums, one has to find at least 22 caches, plus another 35, in order to get to the final souvenir. Not gonna happen. We decided we’ll cache as we wish….or not. There are so many other things to do besides run around like chickens with our heads chopped off in search of this stuff. I know others are all over this and good for them. Just not for us, we decided. We’ve skipped other souvenirs, too.
07/14/2019 at 8:15 pm #2063716I’m just caching. I found the clues and 11 of the gems. I’ll probably look up caches with the 4 specific gems that I need. The last 35 will either come or they won’t.

07/15/2019 at 7:04 am #2063717FTP for the 15th of July! Happy Monday everyone.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

07/16/2019 at 9:00 am #2063728Long day yesterday. Left Des Moines at 4:30, got home about 11:30. Stopped at Diamond Jo Casino in Iowa for supper. Pretty good buffet, but lost a few buck in the slot machines.

07/16/2019 at 2:53 pm #2063729Taking 66 kidlets geocaching tomorrow, assuming the heat index keeps it in the green or yellow range. If I could choose, I would reschedule, but we will have ample water, lunch, and sunscreen, so hopefully it will be fine. Last week we were in Sheboygan at the Bookworm Gardens. It was also hot and humid. Not as long a bus ride this week. 🙂
07/17/2019 at 6:17 am #2063730FTP for Wednesday 7/17/19 Hot enough for everyone? Even Up North it’s hot and muggy with SW winds bring all the heat to the north.
No lake winds yesterday to cool us down.I’d Rather Be Lost Geocaching, Than Found At Home!
07/17/2019 at 7:06 am #2063731July is historically Wisconsin’s hottest month while January is the coldest.
