09/02/2019 at 7:45 am #2064047:ftp: for Labor Day!
09/02/2019 at 7:07 pm #2064049C560 is a personal home and it looks like it is a bit frustrating right now. The right buyers will show up at the right time, I’m sure. Hang in there! Remember, you’re selling a “house”. It’s the memories of it being your “home” that are taken with you.
Thanks Jim. We’re building a new house and the bank wants the current one sold before closing on the construction loan. So much more complicated than it was 28 years ago.
09/02/2019 at 8:27 pm #2064050Yup! Big brother was asleep those many years ago. Now big brother has a lot of relatives looking over HIS shoulder. It IS much more complicated.
We have home inspection tomorrow and buyers appraisal on Wednesday. Not out of the woods yet!

FTP for Tuesday the 3rd of September!
09/03/2019 at 10:21 pm #2064054It’s good to see people have been posting is the afternoon/evening hours the last couple of days, it makes the Hodagger happy. That doesn’t happen too often in this thread, as y’all are looking more for daily or page FTP’s. Those are bound to happen on occasion, but can we ramp up the drivel? That would make things a little more interesting.
In other news, my neighborhood association here in Green Bay held it’s annual Back To School picnic in one of the neighborhood parks tonight. Despite the fact that I don’t have kids, and never will, I still went so I could mingle with my neighbors and even the several elected officials that showed up. Not any big names or any such thing as far as that, just two school board members and a county board supervisor who all happen to live in the neighborhood. Good times were had by all, and I came home with a couple of spare hamburgers, care of my neighbor down the block who is a caterer.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
Where's George? Stimulating the economy one EMS'ed dollar at a time.
09/04/2019 at 6:07 am #2064055FTP for Wed Sept. 4th I had my 2nd Shringrix shot for shingles yesterday, late morning, and it kicked my butt all night! The 2nd one was worse for me than the first. Seemed like I had a fever and body aches and some chills all night. Funny thing is the fever is a “dry fever” without sweating. Got up at 4:45 to take a long hot shower which really felt great. Well, maybe one day/night of feeling crappy is still better than a bad case of shingles. I’ve had shingles twice, but mild and really don’t want them again.

09/04/2019 at 7:38 am #2064056Those vaccines can be pretty wacky!
I had the Swine Flu vaccine in the mid 70’s…WOW! They discontinued it after 2 weeks cuz too many people were dying from the reactions.
By the way, that was NOT a dry fever!
Good to see the Brewers win last night. Looking around the stadium, you could see that school started! It made for easy entry/exit in the parking lot.
09/04/2019 at 7:40 am #2064057Oh! The home inspection was great! When it was finished, the buyer said, “See you at the closing.”
Guess that’s a good sign.
09/04/2019 at 10:31 am #2064058I wonder if it’s too early to start talking magic numbers for baseball yet.

09/04/2019 at 12:11 pm #2064059I don’t know where I left off in my last screed, but I do have a house for sale if someone wants to live in Sandland. 🙂
First day of school with all kids here, we run only freshmen the first day to get them acquainted with the building.
