Have become an admirer of rawevil’s Jeep…nice story 🙂

    Awe . . . thank you 🙂

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

FTP for this stormy Thursday morning.

No storms here yet. Quite cloudy however. I can however see pink in the east from my office window view.

I think the rain is finally letting up here (hopefully)

I was honestly hoping that the storm would either hold off or return for supper time tonight. We have two soccer games that I’m working tonight. The varsity game starts at 6 & JV at 8. That means I won’t get home until around 10. At least we have an inservice day tomorrow so I can half-sleep in the morning.

Meow…arf, arf…raining cats and dogs here! Flood warnings in effect 🙁 My tour of the Copper Culture State Park museum for the local 3rd graders has been rained out. Tonight’s historical society’s cemetery walk has been moved indoors…gonna get dizzy walking in circles around that auditorium…LOL!

Maybe all this moisture will get out of the system and we won’t have a ton of snow storms this year.

Craaaaap. Inj Browning is archiving all their caches. I shot a message to them offering to adopt them, but I think it’s too late. I drove past all of them when I was working for the Census, but didn’t have time to stop to find them. Easy ones to find, just not enough time at the time.

And, on a related note, I’m sure these containers are not being removed, will they be cache rescue missions? I know a few of them are ammo cans.

What’s a GC code for them?

The caches are under 15 miles from my house. I’m making a list of them now. Carter Creek ones are definitely ammo boxes. From pictures of the other ones they look like larger plastic containers, not pill bottles.

This one I’m very sad to see archived. It’s a great micro on a howitzer.

This link will take you to the list of Inj Browning caches that were most recently archived and, as best as I can determine, still in play. Several have logs that indicate they may be flooded, but I haven’t been to look yet. Most have been archived because they cannot be maintained.

          I’ll get right on that.

I’m looking at what I should do with some of my caches here in Green Bay because of flooding, most of mine are along local rivers.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
