I’ll also take FTP for page 1,090 while I’m here.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

09/20/2019 at 7:40 am #2064176I figure I’ll get the Carter ones this weekend. Maybe the school forest ones too.

09/20/2019 at 5:30 pm #2064180Update: Carter caches are in the field and IB is wondering how (if?) they could be transferred to me. I’m not sure we can because they’re archived now

09/20/2019 at 8:31 pm #2064181Say…the blurb about the old coins doesn’t indicate how or where to buy the cards. I’m guessing they are at the picnic?

09/20/2019 at 8:58 pm #2064182Yes, the cards are only available at the picnic. The only way to transfer them now would be for IB to contact a reviewer and ask that they be unarchived, then transfer them to you.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
09/20/2019 at 9:08 pm #2064183We tried this out in Oregon. The reviewer there was a strange duck. Some things he didn’t care too much about, other things he did. Hiding caches was much easier out there than here (no offense intended, I understand why), but once a cache hit the archive pile there was no bringing it back. This cache was one of the oldest in the state, and the owner archived it because…I still don’t really know why. I got into contact with him through a guy I knew who knew his dad who contacted him. Reviewer said no. We appealed to GC HQ, and they said no, even though the cache was still in place and part of a popular/difficult challenge in the state.
If one of the reviewers wants to reach out to IB and walk him through the process, I’m still very willing to take these over. I messaged BigJim more details, but it truly makes me sad to see all these caches gone.

09/21/2019 at 6:36 am #2064185FTP for the 21st.
Picnic sounds good but starting the move gets the nod today. Have fun!
09/21/2019 at 4:07 pm #2064186I just got back from the 114th East/West football game here in Green Bay. There were a ton of turnovers by East, but they still managed to win 16-6. Of course, I was cheering for East because that’s where I went to school. Go East!

09/21/2019 at 8:04 pm #2064188Almost as old as the M&M game! Marinette lost again this year.
Don’t bushwhack in the dark, even for a lonely cache. I’ll take “huge buckthorn to the groin” for 1000, Alex

09/22/2019 at 12:11 am #2064189I only found 2 caches at the event today, err yesterday. Which would make this FTP for Sunday, 9/22/2019

Wha??? You didn’t even need to make pancakes…LOL. But the BOD did a terrific job again. Thank you. I’m sure you’ll make up for it when your term on the Board is done…are you one of the five not up for election?
