If SadowskiFamily can’t replace the cache at Rabbit Rock, I will get it in place.

I only found 2 caches at the event today, err yesterday. Which would make this FTP for Sunday, 9/22/2019

Wha??? You didn’t even need to make pancakes
LOL. But the BOD did a terrific job again. Thank you. I’m sure you’ll make up for it when your term on the Board is done
are you one of the five not up for election?

My current term ends this year. If nominated for another term, I will run. If I am reelected, I will serve another term.

If I am not reelected, I will still make pancakes.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

I’m sure you’ll get votes from some Thread Stealers even if you’re a fan of certain Chicago teams.  :-p

          So
what’s the biggest physical cache you’ve ever found?

This is the biggest ammo can, GC1MDCE, I have found but I have found a few outhouse sized ones.

MATH STORYTELLING DAY – September 25

MATH STORYTELLING DAY – September 25

Today encourages everyone to tell stories through math. This is a day to appreciate all the ways math enhances our daily lives.

The day is a great opportunity to get children excited about math through stories and games. Math stories can include logic, patterns, puzzles and numbers. Tell math jokes and sing songs about math.

            HOW TO OBSERVE #MathStorytellingDay

Explore math stories, make up new ones, listen to others tell even more math stories. Use #MathStorytellingDay to post on social media.

Educators, visit the National Day Calendar classroom for ways to incorporate this day into your school calendar.

            NATIONAL MATH STORYTELLING DAY HISTORY

The Natural Math Community of Naturalmath.com created Math Storytelling Day in 2009.  Dr. Maria Droujkova was inspired after reading a blog post by Seth Godin entitled “What should I do on your birthday?” Seth encouraging readers to think bigger than themselves when making birthday suggestions to friends. Dr. Droujkova took the idea to heart and declared Math Story Day would be shared with friends and family on her birthday, September 25. Not only did Dr. Droujkova share math stories, but the first person to respond, Sue, shared a birthday with Dr. Droujkova, too.

Drove 20 miles out of my way to work this morning to get FTF on a cache just SE of Wautoma. Nope. DNF on a 1/1.5.  Spent the next 40 minutes driving to work wondering if it was too dark, or if I was too asleep, or if coords were off, the rating was off or if it wasn’t in place yet. Or a combination of those.

That’s about the size of our hotel.

Well, someone else got FTF on that cache. Dark wasn’t the time to search for it.  Frustrating because the coords are off. The posted coords are very clearly at a certain location that a CO should be able to tell were not correct and could fudge to get closer. Oh well. My wife likes the store, so we have another reason to stop now. 🙂

FTP for September 26. I went to get a haircut yesterday, and there was a hand-written note on the door of the barber shop that said “Closed until further notice.” The barber I go to is 89 years old, so I worry that his health may not be good. I had to go to a different place to get my hair cut for the third time in 37 years.

That’s loyalty Jim. I hope your barber is OK.

I’ve had the same barber since I was 14.  He’s 5 years older than me.
