It actually looks pretty on the trees, even though it’s October.  😡  and oh, a surprise :ftp: on page 1103.

Happy Craphas Fallen Day! (too slow)

The craphas is here. Who won the guessing game?

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I woke up to find about an inch of that white fluffy stuff had fallen on Green Bay.  Craphas is everywhere.  I agree that’s it’s pretty on the trees, but I think Mother Nature has forgotten that it’s still October.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

Did someone say beer? I’ll take that peanut butter porter over there if noone else wants it.

You know, that always sounds so gross, but….a couple weeks ago, we were at a house concert, where a local home brewer/vintner serves up some goodies before the concert.  One of the musicians recommended his chocolate peanut butter stout, so I took her advice.  It…was….good.

WA makes some pretty good homebrews. I think I have tried 3 of his. They all have Jeep-themed names.

The last one I tried was called Jeepy McJeepface. It was a NEIPA.

No craphas on the trees here, just a dusting on the ground. Almost looked more like a heavy frost. WA never gave me a beer.

Treat or Treat night in Washburn tonight. The city-wide “Gate Night” is a tradition since the DuPont factory days when the company had a huge party the night before Halloween. Get ready for a cool night out there!

Timing is everything I guess. The photographers made me stay and do the job I was doing when they first arrived. RME . . . I will appear in an Oshkosh Museum piece called Then and Now. I am curious to go see this piece now.

Paper and printing in the Fox Valley has been a huge thing around here since forever . . .

I was on a tour of one of the paper mills in Appleton several years back and it was a lot more interesting than I’d thought it would be.  Mrs. Timberline Echoes and I took part in a scrapbooking retreat up there hosted by Club Scrap.

Remember scrapbooking?  I have donated so much of my stuff to worthy programs and still could make cards and stuff into the next century with what I still have.  Another of those OCD type pastimes!

Love scrapbooking!  It is one of the things I have been passing the time with as I recover.  It can get expensive, so I limit what I choose to scrapbook.

I did a scrapbook once.  Well, one page.

Usually the early bird gets the FTP, but today it goes to the night owl.
