      AWEPOST BY BIG JIM on Veteran’s Day That’s a lot of 11s!

      Washburn has less than an inch of snow at 10 degrees this morning. Although the snowbelt at Ironwood/Hurley has at lot and so much that ABR XC Ski center plans to open on Thursday. That’s an early opener and all on private land so any deer hunt in Upper Michigan will not interfere.

                As of yesterday, we are no longer cable TV users.  Of course, now that we’ve kind of figured out how hulu works, we’re asking….why didn’t we do this years ago?

                Actually, we tried, but that time, they came way back down in charges to what we’d paid early on, so we kept it.  Yesterday the guy had no people skills whatsoever and just took our stuff and signed us off.  Fine with us.

                                  Today is World Kindness Day.  Like many of the nontraditional holidays, we shouldn’t need a special day to celebrate it.  In honor of it, I will kindly leave the FTP for 11/13 on 1113 for someone else. ☺
